The Power of Pink

Glasdon Goes Pink in aid of Charity Breast Cancer Now.

Friday 21st October saw a wave of the colour pink. Staff members from all departments were encouraged to ‘Wear it Pink’ by dressing in an item of pink, be it an outfit or just an accessory.

Staff proudly embraced the vibrant task set before them as the day featured pink shirts, hats, cardigans and, of course, plenty of balloons.

UK Charity, ‘Breast Cancer Now’, is behind the event. The fundraiser takes place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month and brings together thousands of people across the country’s communities, schools or workplaces all to raise vital money for breast cancer research.

Now in its 20th year, the event has raised over £37 million to help make life-saving research and vital support happen.

From the event, we are proud to announce that, along with The DJ Sidebottom/Glasdon Charitable Programme, we have managed to raise £500. We would like to extend a huge thank you to all those who took part and donated.
