from England Amputee Football Association
Please acknowledge this as a receipt of your generous donation of £15000 to the England Amputee Football Association charity for the coming year.
EAFA is small but immensely important to those that participate and benefit from its program and activities, from the Juniors through to those that represent at International level.
Without the wonderful support of people and organisations like yourselves, we simply wouldn't be able to continue doing what we do.
As EAFA is completely volunteer run, every penny of your donation goes in to the work we love to do. The Juniors have had another amazing 12months, with more and more new faces experiencing the camps and benefiting in so many ways from your donation. It is impossible to put in to words what this means!
If you can, please follow the adventures of our fantastic Women’s National Team at the inaugural World Cup tournament in Colombia, when they kick off against Peru on Monday 04th November, via our social media feeds.
So, once again, many thanks for the donation and we look forward to catching up soon.
Warmest regards,
Dave Tweed

from The Great North Air Ambulance Service
I am writing on behalf of The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) to thank The DJ Sidebottom/Glasdon Charitable Programme for supporting our charity with a grant of £1000.00.
Your donation will help people in our region such as *** *** who was involved in a head-on collision with a van in Cambois, Northumberland. GNAAS' critical care team was called to the scene and assessed and treated **** *** before airlifting her to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle. *** *** said:
"I know for a fact that I wouldn't be here today without the support and help from the air ambulance. Even police and doctors have told us that as well. GNAAS are absolutely amazing in everything they do. Without a doubt."
Last year we were called out 1983 times across our region. To enable us to continue to provide this service, we must raise more than £8.5m every year. We couldn't be there for people like *** without the generosity of the communities we serve and greatly appreciated grants such as yours.
If you would like to contact us about your donation, please call 01325 487 263 or visit www.gnaas.com
Again, thank you for your continued support, we couldn't do it without you.
Yours sincerely,
Victoria Smitheman

from Samaritans of Lancaster & District
Thank you for once again supporting our work, with your recent cheque for £500.
Without donations and grants received, we would be unable to continue supporting our many callers.
Donations such as yours support the upkeep of our Centre, and also enable us to undertake outreach work, making as many people as possible aware that Samaritans are here for them in any time of distress and despair.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs June Ellis
Treasurer
Wish to thank you for the generous donation given to Wyre Flounders Swimming Club as a fund booster by yourselves.

I am just back from a week off and would like to take this opportunity for thanking you once again for our donation of £1000.00. It was unexpected and very welcome and we are planning on spending most of it on food to top up our food bank. We have a weekly food bank for people in the area who are short of food and toiletries and are finding life very difficult. Unfortunately this is one area that the numbers are rising month on month. Please send our sincere thanks to your committee.

I am writing to once again thank you for you kind donation of £1,700 to Carr Head School PFTA - and to let you know how the money was spent.
Thanks to your generous gift, all the pupils at the school have had a chance to enjoy a variety of workshops over the last 18 months.
Science - all pupils enjoyed a science show during assembly, followed by experiment sessions in their individual classrooms. Ice cream-making, shower steamers and skittle patterns were particularly popular.
Reception class also had a visit from a Creep Crawly Workshop and had the opportunity to handle some minibeasts. The class teacher said "The children (and staff) really enjoyed the experience and learned lots."
English - On World Book Day, your funding paid for an author to visit the school. he spoke to the whole school in assembly and then held age-appropriate workshops in year groups 1-6. Our children loved meeting a real-life author and had lots of interesting questions for him.
History - The curriculum was really brought to life with a visit from The History Man. Half-day interactive sessions were enjoyed by pupils on topics related to their study subjects - Y1 - the Great Fire of London, Y2 - Seaside Holidays, Y3 - Romans, Y4 - Vikings, Y5 - Ancient Greece and Y6 - Tudors.
Reception, Y1 and Y2 also got to enjoy a traditional Punch and Judy show.
As you can see from the images, the children loved these experiences which would not have been possible without your funding.
Throughout the year, we have shared various posts about the workshops on our Facebook page and have credited your donation. On behalf of the PTFA and the school, I wanted to personally thank you for enabling us to enrich the lives of our pupils and for giving them an opportunity to make memories with their friends.
The waste bin you generously provided also continues to be well-used and helps keep the school grounds tidy and litter-free.
Yours sincerely,
Jennifer Fielding

On behalf of the women and children in our refuges, and those we support in the local community, I would like to thank you for your kind donation of £2,500.00.
Without the support of people like yourselves, we would not be able to offer our services and comfort to the women, and their children, who have made difficult and brave decisions.
On behalf of the women and children who will benefit from your generosity and kindness, may I thank you once again.
Yours sincerely,

from Singleton Bowling Club
Would you please pass on our thanks to the charity for kindly donating the shelter for Singleton Bowling Club.
It is making a huge difference, especially as we are having a wet summer, unfortunately 😕
I have attached a before and after picture to show how useful and attractive it is. We didn't have anywhere to shelter before on that side of the green.
Best regards,
Janet Fraser
