196 organisations, over £230k in donations, and countless lives transformed by charitable giving.
With another year ending, The DJ Sidebottom/Glasdon Charitable Programme has once again demonstrated its unmatched dedication to social responsibility. Throughout 2024, we funded a variety of charities and non-profit organisations. With any type of charity invited to apply for funding, we assisted various organisations, supporting them by providing vital aid.
Besides taking part in large UK-wide charity events such as Breast Cancer Now’s ‘Wear It Pink’, and MacMillan’s Coffee Morning, we also supported many smaller local charities such as N-Vision, Blackpool Music School and Blackpool Polar Bears, further underlining our ongoing commitment and support for our immediate community. As our Charity of the Year for 2023/2024, we chose Men’s Shed, donating a total of £8,750 split between five locations including Fleetwood, Fylde Coast, Junction 4, Ribbleton and Kirkham Men’s Shed.
We also celebrated another year of backing Josh Landmann as he embarked on his journey to qualify for the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games. While Josh did not qualify this year, we are proud of his ongoing dedication and achievements.
Looking back, The DJ Sidebottom/Glasdon Charitable Programme made donations to 196 organisations, totalling £231,000 of funding. Combined with our past contributions, the past 5 years have seen nearly three-quarters of a million pounds given back to our community. We’re extremely proud to show our continued support to these wonderful organisations and the invaluable work they do.
The DJ Sidebottom/Glasdon Charitable Programme provides support for charities and community projects with donations, grants and fundraising initiatives. All activities are funded by Glasdon Group Limited, with the full support of our Founder and Chairman, Donald J Sidebottom MBE, FCIHT and the Board of Directors.
