Changing Lives Through Charitable Giving
- D.J. Sidebottom / Glasdon Charitable Programme
- 23 Nov 2023
239 donations, 200 organisations and thousands of lives changed forever. It’s all in a year’s work for our Charitable Giving Programme.
Entering its third year, The DJ Sidebottom/Glasdon Charitable Programme has showcased its enduring dedication to social responsibility by inviting numerous charities and non-profit organisations to apply for funding. This support has enabled them to receive essential donations and assistance, ensuring the continuation of their admirable work.
During 2022/2023, we exceeded our goals by engaging with a remarkable amount of worthwhile charities, surpassing previous achievements. We formed new connections and friendships with organisations in need of our assistance, while also providing ongoing support to those with whom we had previously established contact.
The chosen charities have a wide array of purposes, including assisting underprivileged members of the Fylde Coast community, advocating for environmental causes, supporting national health and wellness organisations, and contributing to sports groups for people of all ages.
Over the past 12 months, The DJ Sidebottom/Glasdon Charitable Programme made donations to 200 organisations, totalling £246,000 worth of funding. This means that half a million pounds has been gifted to our community over the past 48 months. We’re extremely proud to show our continued support to these wonderful organisations and the incredible work they do.
Entering the new year, we look forward to collaborating with even more deserving charities and improving our local and global communities through our programme.
The DJ Sidebottom/Glasdon Charitable Programme provides support for charities and community projects with donations, grants and fundraising initiatives.
