N-Vision Blackpool

Supporting people with sight loss and enhancing their quality of life since 1910.

N-Vision Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre Society for the Blind is a local independent charity. It provides services and support to people who live with sight loss throughout Blackpool, Fylde, and Wyre, regardless of age or means.

First formed in 1910, the charity has been providing its services to the community for over 100 years, offering a variety of services, from residential care to social groups for the blind and visually impaired. Services offered are delivered by volunteers in a professional, informal manner, and powered by donations from the community.

N-Vision works hard to empower people with sight loss so they can fulfil their potential and their aspirations, whilst also promoting their health and wellbeing.

The D J Sidebottom / Glasdon Charitable Programme has provided a donation to N-Vision to help with the construction of a new cabin for the charity’s gardening equipment, gardening club, and other various activities, including beekeeping and handicrafts, alongside a donation plaque.

The DJ Sidebottom/Glasdon Charitable Programme provides support for charities and community projects with donations, grants and fundraising initiatives. All activities are funded by Glasdon Group Limited, with the full support of our Founder and Chairman, Donald J Sidebottom MBE, FCIHT and the Board of Directors.
